To celebrate your contract we went to Sushi-O - Jason took our picture with Mom's homemade poster; we enjoyed a celebration toast and ate sushi rolls (Blusing Geisha and Inside Out) plus Spanish mackerel. Came home to find both cats relaxing in the living room (Goblin has been able to tone-down her snarls and hisses to a low under-the-breath warning growl -- Jr. gets the idea).

Junior spent a good fifteen minutes sitting quietly on the armrest beside Goblin, then she slid down onto the chair and got half buried under the pillow before Goblin had enough and left (I couldn't get to the camera in time to catch the picture of her head poking up over the pillow with Goblin still there, but captured the scene just seconds after Goblin ran off, shown above).

Goblin eventually grew tired of Junior's antics and vacated the footstool, growling to herself. Junior then hopped up, sat there awhile, and then returned to the sunny spot on the floor.

Incoming upscale sushi restaurant in nearby village put up its sign today. Adjacent Italian restaurant now has outside patio.

When I came home from swimming they each were asleep in respective spots.

Junior usually knocks down a picture or two when she follows Goblin up onto the piano. Goblin seems more at ease with Junior near her though.

Junior will figure it out sometime.

Prior to this clip, Junior was actually perched on the armrest of the chair in the sun as though about to take a nap. Goblin allowed her that far. But then Junior's adventurous spirit took hold and she jumped up on the back of the chair.
